Former Florida Governor (1971-1979) and U.S. trade Representative (1979-1980). Professor Askew holds the Askew Eminent Scholar Chair and since 1995 has been on the faculty, and he has been the Senior Fellow of the Florida Institute of Government. His interests are in administration and public policy of Florida state government and the evolution of American federalism.
