Dr. Crispo is Courtesy Professor and Intern Coordinator at the Askew
School of Public Administration and Policy Florida State University.
He is also President of Y-HAT Inc., an association for the Provision
of Research & Educational Resources.

projects which were promulgated and published under Dr Crispo’s
authorship or direction.
Briefings - A series of forty-three publications that addresses policy,
operational and fiscal issues of State and local government. were
produced under his direction.
"Ideas in Action: Florida TaxWatch" Publication was introduced
and edited by Dr. Crispo as a means to provide a point counter point
forum to address major public issues of the day that impacted state
and local government. Contributors have included a wide list of prominent
persons representing a broad spectrum of expertise. Fifty-five issues
were published under Dr. Crispo’s editorship.
Focus Newsletters - Ninety-six issues of this publication were made
under his editorship.
Recent Awards and
Achievements
Dr. Crispo has held several administrative and faculty
positions in higher education. during his thirty three-year career
in Florida's community college and state university systems.
He served for fifteen years as an officer in USCG both on active
duty and in the active reserve attaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander
and was assigned to the position of unit commander.
He served as the Senior Vice President for Research and Operations
at Florida TaxWatch Research Institute from January 1991 until November
1998. From 1999 through 2000 he assumed the position of Vice President
for Research Development and assumed duties at FSU.
He has been and is currently noted as a Heritage Foundation Policy
Expert.
Dr. Crispo received the Outstanding Teacher Award at the Askew School's Annual Award Ceremony in Spring 2008. He generously inspires and motivates students to succeed in all their endeavors.
